Why the Bible Study Store House?

The Store House was founded, in part, on the priciple that God has been storing up his Word (the food) for the nations, in preparation for a time of famine, in a way similar to Joseph (Gen 41).  Do we believe there is currently a famine for the Word?  Yes.  Through denominationalism, secularism and other movements, the foundational truths of Scripture have been twisted to the point where there is little of value.  One may think that with abundance of Christian programming on radio, tv and other forms of media that there would be a huge abundance of spiritual food.  The fact remains that, similar to our food supply, this abundance is severily lacking in nutritional value and fills the stomach while leaving one feeling still empty.  So it seems to be that in the abundance of Christian teaching and media, is yet remains difficult to be truely fed.

So we have opened the Store House to make available to the nations food that truely satisfies.  We and the authors / teachers represented here do not claim to have recieved a complete revelation .. this is no full gospel.  We along with these authors / teachers believe that God has layed a firm foundation of truth in the Scriptures of the Old Testemant, which must be first studied, then raised up those in the New Testement to add insight and understanding upon the Old, and today continues to reveal and add to this collective body of understanding and truth.  In addition, we believe that God does not keep such insight for a minority few, but rather gives each person unique insight and revelation.

Our pray is that the teaching available on this site may be a starting point and a quide to help you in what God has to teach you directly.  As a start to that journey, may we recommend the booklet Hearing God's Voice and may He lead you into all truth.
