What is it to "walk in the wilderness?" Isreal did it for 40 years and shows the pattern of our typical wilderness journeys. Art Hawkins shares with us his wilderness journey (at least to the point of the recording in 2002). Art Hawkins was CEO of Exide Battery corporation. By his own admission, he was a hard man, one that would take people and employees apart at the seems if he felt it necessary to increase productivity. Art and his family lived the life of the rich and famous with jets, yachts and more. But God got a hold of Art and radically changed his life.
In this recording made in 2002 just prior to Art's court case related to business at Exide, Art shares his journey, his revelation of the sovereignty of God and his peace with his Heavenly Father ... knowing full well the challenges ahead.
In late Dec 2002, Art was convicted of wire fraud and sentenced to 10 years for which he is still serving.
